Okay, maybe it’s not such a huge deal, but tonight at McDonald’s (Andy was golfing, and I was too tired/lazy after work to try to figure out dinner), I let Noah go up to the counter alone (I was across the restaurant) to order our cookies. He did a great job, and was very excited about the “coin” that he got back from the lady-it was a nickel, as the cookies are $1.05 and I gave him $1.10. He can be very helpful and respectful when the final result is sufficiently satisfying!
Also, after the boys got up from their naps, they called me into their room to show me that they had made their beds! Maybe Noah helped Caden, but they were very proud, and I was sure to let them know how pleased I was that they showed some responsibility. These moments are somewhat few and far between, but we’re getting there!
