Andy and I just got back from seeing “The Dark Knight.” I don’t know if I’m getting more sensitive as I get older, or the movies are getting more violent more intense, but I had a really hard time sitting through that whole movie! I was very much interested in going down the hall to find “Mamma Mia!” (which is very entertaining, and bright!).
There were a few parts that kept me entertained:
1. The Batmobile-definitely the coolest one yet!
2. The Bat-cycle-also quite cool.
3. Christian Bale in a suit (actually with or without any other type of clothing-very hot!)-I’ve loved him since his “Newsies” days!
4. An amazing performance by Heath Ledger-now I understand what everyone means when they say how his death is a more profound loss after seeing this movie. He’s incredible!
Otherwise, I wasn’t terribly impressed. But maybe seeing this movie will give me more credit toward a more “girly” movie the next time Andy and I head to the movie theater!
But I love the cowboy (from Newsies)!!!! We need to re-enact “Santa Fe” the next time we get together! 🙂
