Weigh-in Wednesday: Week 5

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

Initial weight: 124.0
Last week: 123.0
This week: 123.2
Change: +0.2

I think it has something to do with the numerous Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, mini Krackle bars, fancy-flavored Twizzlers, and peanut M&M’s that I ate yesterday at work as we tried to keep our morale up on our first day of computerized documentation at the hospital.

Today isn’t going to be much better: a hot dog and beer at the Brewer game, other treats at the game, chimichangas for dinner, followed by spice cake with penuche frosting for my Dad’s 65th birthday! But we have to celebrate! Happy birthday, Daddy! I love you!!!

On a better workout note, I’m still Shredding (I’ve missed a few days), and I’m really liking Level 3. It’s kicking my butt, but it feels good! But you know what didn’t feel good yesterday? My obliques from the side plank raises! I don’t think I’ve ever felt pain there before! It’s awesome!!!

  • its hard to resist baseball food! and i’ll be going to a birthday party this weekend (my niece is turning 5) so i’ll have to really watch myself.

  • Point 2 really isn’t so bad, considering!!! Have fun at the game and celebrating your Dad’s birthday! You’ll have the whole rest of the week to turn things around. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and you should be fine!

I’m loving level 3 as well. My obliques are hurting really bad, too, and I LOVE it!!! It really feels good!

  • I’m both looking forward to a new level and scared to death. But I’m on day 9 of Level 1 and I swear Level 2 has to have something different than side lunges/anterior raises. 😉 Good luck this week.

  • Oh my gosh! All of that yummy food is making me hungry!! If I had eaten all of that candy in one day, I would have gained 3 lbs, so I say great job!

And you rock for still shredding!
