The boys had their 6-month dentist check-up today, and everything went just fine. Except for the fact that Noah needs to have a filling. Crap! Apparently his six-year molars have an enamel “defect” that will need sealants, but one of them needs to be “smoothed out”. This was all according to “Dr. Angie” who looks to be about 15 years old! Whatever, my poor baby has to have his first filling at the tender age of 5 1/2!
We’ll go in next Wednesday morning, they’ll give him some nitrous oxide (can’t wait to see how that affects him!), then they’ll numb it up a bit, then drill away. I’m not so sure how this is going to go. I also don’t know when to tell Noah about it. Maybe that morning?
