The timing of this challenge was perfect! We headed out to The Elegant Farmer (home of the famous Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag) on Sunday to do some apple picking and pumpkin selecting. It was a gorgeous day to start, but then the wind picked up and we got rained on a bit. We didn’t let that dampen our spirits!
Wandering around the apple orchard, watching the boys climb trees, filling our basket with apples-that’s what fall feels like!
It’s a lot of pictures, but we had such a great time, I needed to show it all off!
Apple picking is one of my most favorite memories from childhood. It looks like you’re building some amazing family memories yourself.

Great captures and great memories.
Your boys are adorable and so incredibly happy in these pictures! Love them all.
This might be one of my favorite sets so far. You all look so happy and it looks like a really great day. And the colors! They are just lovely. I’m intrigued by the apple pie in a paper bag…off to check that out now.
Wow, that looks like such a fun day! And what great photos to remember it by! I especially love the middle photo – it’s got a great perspective, with the angle from below.
Okay. It’s final. I will be searching for an apple orchard today. Good grief these are great shots!
I love to bake apple pies in a paper bag! Don’t know why they turn out so good and different, but they do. Great pics.
So cute! We went apple picking too 🙂
A lot of really great photos. Looks like a blast!!
What beautiful shots. It looks like you all had so much fun. Is this the same apple pie baked in a bag that I think was featured on Bobby Flay’s throwdown show?
What a fun day! Fantastic shots!
Ok, I was just over at Ishouldbefoldinglaundry.com and saw that you have a great recipe for chili. I’m always looking for new ways to make chili…is there anyway you would be willing to share? 🙂 Pretty please! lol.
Your boys are gorgeous, by the way! I’m the mom of 2 boys also and LOVE IT.
What great photos! Perfect!
Awesome shots! I can’t wait to go to the pumpkin patch.
That just looks like fun! Those apples are lovely.

YEP those pictures are so fall in my eyes too! Love it!
I love your photos! They are simply adorable… Thanks for sharing them! =)
These are so great!! We need to get ourselves to an apple farm STAT!
What a FUN day!! Great captures!
These are great shots, esp. the one of your “boys” in the tree.
I LOVE the one with all three of them in the tree! Awesome!
If you can photoshop yourself into the one of Andy and the boys in the tree, that would make the COOLEST Christmas card 🙂 Can you tell this is my last day at work and I am bored??
