When I saw the challenge for this week over at I Should Be Folding Laundry was “food”, I thought about this post. Then I thought it would be cheating. So I thought about it a little bit, and decided on…blueberries.
I have been eating blueberries this summer like they’re going out of style. I’ve been going through a pint about every three days. I primarily like to put them in my yogurt. But I’ll eat them straight. When I was pregnant with Noah (six years ago!), I ate blueberries mixed in with a cut up nectarine almost every day at work.
I love to make Blueberry Boy Bait-named that way by my mother and father because her mom used to make it when they were dating, and my dad claims that’s why he married my mom! It’s a delicious, moist dense coffee cake covered in blueberries. I haven’t gotten too creative with blueberries in terms of other dishes, but I suppose I should check some out. Any suggestions?
Think of all of the antioxidants I’m getting! I’m surprised I haven’t turned into Violet Beauregarde! Look at these gorgeous berries!
Oooooh, my mouth is watering right now!
Go get hungry checking out other food posts!

Oh YUM! I love blueberries and those look gorgeously scrumptious!
Great blueberry shots! Looks like my table and chairs – I like the way the chair looks in the background. Can you believe I just learned to like blueberries this summer? Crazy. I like to eat them frozen.
Those are beautiful…hope you enjoyed them!
YUM! Great captures.
I never get sick of blueberries! And these look delicious.
I love that bowl. We haven’t been blueberry picking at all this year.
Such great shots! They make me want to go find some fresh blueberries here in UT, and make PW’s Yogurt Cream and berries. It is the BEST with blueberries.
