Last day of summer freedom

Noah starts kindergarten tomorrow. My heart is aching. It’s the end of an era! I can’t believe he’s old enough to go to kindergarten! But he’s totally ready. Completely ready. I’m not.

Today the boys got to play at three different parks with Grandma, then this afternoon we had some time to play outside before our dinner of burgers, corn on the cob, and pickles! The boys started playing with a balloon and the bicycle pump. (Note the blue light saber-Caden is rarely without that thing these days!)

Fun with a pump

Then Andy pulled out his hockey stick and a tennis ball. Bring on the driveway hockey!

After dinner, we went for a walk, then came back home to give the boys baths, then books before bed. Andy read an extremely appropriate book tonight.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings!

What a face!

I’m getting teary for you!!! Wear your sunglasses when you drop him off (or put him on the bus). It’s a hard one (for you), but I know he’ll love it!!! We still have one more week of vacation before Isabella starts first grade (boo hoo!) and another week until Sienna heads back to preschool. I can’t believe that tomorrow is Sept. 1st!!!! Tell Noah that we said, “Good luck!” Can’t wait to hear about it tomorrow night!
