That’s how old Noah is today. He’s gone from this…
…to this…
…in the blink of an eye.
It was a great day. Noah’s off for Teacher’s Convention, so we took advantage of a weekday afternoon to have his birthday party at a local bowling alley. All I need to say is, thank goodness for bumpers! It would have been a very sad afternoon with all of the gutter balls they would have had! And how ironic is it that the youngest person at the party, Caden, ended up with the highest score?! He had three spares, and almost broke 100! I don’t always break 100 when I play!
Noah had a great time with his buddies, most of whom he doesn’t get to see as often as he’d like. He got some great presents, and they all got to eat some yummy cake (that I decorated with a Space Shuttle and stars, thankyouverymuch!). He even got a bowling pin that all of the kids signed. It was a terrific afternoon.
After dinner at Qdoba, we all headed home so Noah could open the rest of his presents from Andy and me. It is Lego world around here!
I wish I were more eloquent, or not so tired, because I’d write a lovely, moving letter to Noah. Maybe I’ll work on it and add it in later! No matter what, I need to say that I’ve loved Noah from the moment I laid eyes on him, and I’ve loved him more every moment since then. I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
Happy birthday, Noah!!! It looks like you had a great birthday celebration today! What an awesome cake-I’m impressed! Great family picture, too! 🙂
Great job on the spaceship Sarah!
